It’s not often we get a rare appearance of chaff on radar but it appears tonight is one of those nights here on January 12th, 2026. While were checking for snow on radar, we noticed the thin bands of mixed precipitation which resembled that of chaff formation. Our thoughts were confirmed when checking correlation coefficient radar (on the bottom).
