One year ago today on my son’s 7th birthday, we had our fire at our Brookside store. It’s one of the most impactful and difficult moments of my life! While luckily it was caught early and not a huge fire, we lost just about everything from smoke damage. As a small business owner, you have to choose optimism and creative thinking a lot!
