Google recently came up with a video titled 'Year in Search 2016' which comes off as a visceral gut punch. The historically contentious U.S. election, the Brexit vote, Black Lives Matter protests, the little shellshocked boy in Aleppo—all of it is so poignant, it makes you want to hibernate through 2017.
