The Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces (INF) Treaty between the United States and the Soviet Union ushered in the end of the Cold War. The U.S. withdrew its Pershing II missiles and the Soviet Union withdrew its SS-20s. As a part of the treaty, both countries agreed that some of the missiles would be put in museums so that people could learn from them.
